1st battery was fine and gave 60~miles. I bought a spare and it was 3lbs~ lighter. First full charge full discharge was 38 miles ~. Yet 3rd full charge/discharge gave 60~ miles. Basically same as the larger first battery. So FYI these newer smaller batteries supply same as the first one did. I''m in Florida and flat land. 16" tire hub motor @ 300 watts. That is my experience. Very happy with both batteries. Just testing them out. Highly recommend them.
Ronald Manzi here. Just used second battery went 38 miles. This second battery is slightly smaller than the first battery and 3.25 lbs lighter. So range was less. I can only guess perhaps new product being refined. I was just testing it. No problems with the first battery. Happy camper.

(Just in case, you''ll grow dependent on the extended travel ability) The first one gets me and my recumbent bike with a 300 watt motor a good 50 miles. Front hub motor on a 16" wheel. The speed I get is about 15 mph. It takes about 10 hours for full charge. I''ve charged 70 cycles so far. They recommend fully discharging and fully charging first few cycles. Very happy, and the battery does not ever get hot.
