This funding will support the installation of up to 600 kWp of community owned solar PV as well as other low carbon heating and energy saving measures at schools, places of worship, leisure centres and other community buildings. This round will also contribute to the development of a further 2.2 MWp of community owned solar PV with funding for feasibility studies.

21 projects have been offered grant funding through the seventh round of the London Community Energy Fund across four streams:Stream Aprojects cover development and feasibility projects for community energy;Stream Bprovides capital support for the installation of carbon reduction measures andStream Dprojects include community training and engagement with community energy activities.

Sustainable Energy 24 (SE24) have secured £15,000 to carry out a feasibility assessment of measures to improve the energy performance of Belham Primary School in Southwark. This will include a survey of the school''s windows and doors to identify solutions for replacement in early 2025.

Repowering London have secured £14,700 to develop a further 517kWp of solar PV in Waltham Forrest at the Leytonstone Leisure Centre, Queens Road Community Centre and Walthamstow Leisure Centre.

Repowering London have also secured £14,800 to undertake a feasibility study for 823kWp of solar PV at Kelmscott Secondary School, Chingford Leisure Centre and Leyton Leisure Centre in Waltham Forest. Repowering will work in collaboration with Waltham Forest Council and the POWER STATION to set up a community energy co-operative who will design and implement the project.

Repowering London have secured £10,000 to undertake a feasibility study to develop 848 kWp of Solar PV in collaboration with SE24 and SELCE. The proposed installation would be across Bacon''s College and Sedgehill Academy

The Woodfield Project has secured £9,483 funding to contribute to the installation of a 14kW Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) and secondary glazing the Woodfield Pavilion, a community space in Wandsworth and Lambeth.

Tindlemanor provides an affordable building used by women''s organisations in Islington. They have secured £50,000 towards the replacement of their lighting and windows which will reduce the sites green house gas emissions by 4-5.3 tonnes CO2 per year.

Schools Energy Co-operative, in association with Ealing Transition have secured £17,397 towards the installation of a 40kWp Solar PV array at Brentside Primary Academy.

Vine United Reform Church in Redbridge has secured over £19,000 to support the installation of a 3.2 kWp solar PV array along with building fabric measures to reduce the church''s energy consumption. This includes external wall and loft insulation. The church will work with Transition Ilford and follows the feasibility study supported through phase four of LCEF.
