GGGI''s program in PNG is designed to strengthen the country’s capacity to address climate resilience and low-carbon development. GGGI will support mainstreaming green growth into national and provincial processes and planning, developing capacity and skills for the development of bankable projects in key economic sectors, and identifying and mobilizing finance from public and private sources to flow to targeted projects and activities through innovative financial instruments.
GGGI’s support to the Government of PNG will also contribute to attaining the PNG enhanced National Determined Contributions (NDC) targets by bringing transformational and impactful changes through inclusive and resilient green growth interventions.
