DL LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. You get all the juice down to the last drop.
BCI Group Number 24 & Group 24 equivalent / compatible for physical dimensions (L x W x H) & terminal location. Usable deep cycle capacity is much higher (2x) than a lead-acid battery of the same group size. Deep cycle only. Not for starting engines.

I bought three of these batteries to replace my Interstate batteries for the trolling motor. Interstates were two years old and could barely support 2hours of catching bait and 3hours of fishing(5hours for the day). The Dakota batteries showed a full charge after my last 4hour trip. I have a MinnKota 112lb thrust on a 2013 Edgewater 245CC, fishing the Gulf of Mexico in about 800ft of water. I also shaved more than 100lb of battery from the boat. I am sold!
I have a 16′ lund. The weight reduction due to getting this battery increased my top spread by 1/2 mph. When using the trolling motor at Lake Champlain it lasted all day with out the loss of power that I have experienced when using traditional batteries. As my son would say “Game Changer”.
