
Kazakhstan has approved a roadmap to create charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, says the country’s Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development.
The roadmap supports the creation of the necessary infrastructure for EVs in all major cities of the republic by 2029 will spell out the regulatory and technical requirements for the design and development of infrastructure, the production of Kazakh equipment and the installation location of charging stations.
According to a ministry’s document, the blueprint also calls for the introduction of various incentive measures and mechanisms for the adoption of EVs and development of related infrastructure, Kallanish notes.

ASTANA — The Committee of Highways of the Kazakh Ministry of Transport and the United Kingdom''s Car Park Transformer Limited have signed an agreement to cooperate in installing and operating electric vehicle charging stations using the company''s advanced technologies, the ministry''s press service reported on April 25.
