A family business company specialized in metals melting and recycling ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Established in 1974 Amman, Jordan, Jordanian Metals Melting Factory is one of the leading recycling factories.

JMMF was the first to lead and operate into a fully specialized company in Amman, Jordan. We buy metal scrap from local suppliers, factories and auctions. We either segregate materials or recycle it.

Jordanian Metals Melting Factory was constructed in the capital of Jordan, Amman in 1975, Established and led by our late father Haj Hussein Mohammed Al Aboura and his four sons: Mohammed Hassan, Mohammed Ghazi, Nasser Aboura and myself. We specialize in recycling metals such as Copper, Aluminum, Lead, Zinc, Stainless Steel and Iron to provide raw materials to the recycling and casting factories by meeting domestic and international requirements and standards.

We offer paper collection and recycling services, from shop, office, school, hotel, restaurant or home. Paper makes up to 15% of solid waste in Amman and can be effectively recycled back into new paper, providing fantastic savings for your business while reducing your carbon footprint. as a result you can keep your work area clean and enhance the environment by saving trees from being cut and transformed into paper!

We buy metals and broken electrical motors in Amman and other cities of Jordan, metals like Aluminum, Brass, Copper, Lead and steel. we recycle those metals and turn them into row materials that will be used over and over to reduce the carbon footprint and reduce pollution in Jordan. as a result we can reduce the solid waste in municipal waste dumps and save our national row materials by reusing the same metals over and over!

We provide the waste management and collection service from anywhere in Jordan, our targeted customers are Hotels, Camps, Malls, etc… We offer containers and can use existing customers containers, and we transport the waste in compactor trucks upto 10 tons capacity. for example if you’re running a temporary camp with large number of people sleeping there, you will need to consider what you will do with the waste resulting from those people, so our service will save you the trouble of collecting your waste and send it to the municipal solid waste dumps!

This service covers customers wishing to destruct and issue a certificate of destruction for their items for internal use or official use. We carryout solid material destruction such as textiles, electronics, clothes, documents, shoes, bags electrical devices, mobile phones etc…

The three R’s – reduce, reuse and recycle – all help to cut down on the amount of waste we throw away. They conserve natural resources, landfill space and energy. Plus, the three R’s save land and money communities must use to dispose of waste in landfills.

According to the Environmental Right (section 24) everyone has a right to an environment that is not harmful to their health or well-being and to have their environment protected for the benefit of present and future generations through reasonable legislatives and measures that promote pollution and ecological degradation, promote conservation, secure ecologically sustainable development and the use of natural resources while promoting sustainable and economic and social development.

Yes it’s true…just like eating healthy, and exercising, recycling is a smart thing and only smart and cool people do it, so be cool or keep trying!

Paper recycling has been around for a long time. Actually, when you think about it, paper has been a recycled product from the very beginning. For the first 1,800 years or so that paper existed, it was always made from discarded materials.

What Are the Most Significant Benefits of Paper Recycling?Recycling paper conserves natural resources, saves energy, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, and keeps landfill space free for other types of trash that can’t be recycled.

Recycling one ton of paper can save 17 trees, 7,000 gallons of water, 380 gallons of oil, 3.3 cubic yards of landfill space and 4,000 kilowatts of energy-enough to power the average U.S. home for six months- and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by one metric ton of carbon equivalent (MTCE).
