TOPLA KUĆA is pleased to present our new project – the production of lithium batteries in Montenegro. We have conducted extensive research into the energy solutions market and have concluded that lithium batteries are the future. Our goal is to become a leader in the production of lithium batteries in the Balkans and achieve sustainability in economic, environmental, and social aspects.

One of the main advantages of our project is the location of production. Montenegro is situated in the center of the Balkan Peninsula, which allows for quick delivery of products to various countries in Europe. Additionally, Montenegro has a convenient infrastructure for export and a favorable geographical location.

We conducted an analysis of the lithium battery market in the region and concluded that demand for our product will be high. Currently, there is an active transition from traditional energy sources to alternative energy sources, and their autonomy is of great importance.

Lithium batteries are one of the most efficient and environmentally friendly ways of storing energy today. Our lithium battery production technology is based on innovative developments that enable us to create batteries with high energy efficiency and durability, as well as with high levels of protection against overloading and short circuits, ensuring safe use.

The lithium battery production project is investment-attractive and has a high potential for profitability. We have invested significant resources in this project, but we expect profits to be achieved soon.

The cost of producing lithium batteries depends on many factors, including the cost of materials, equipment, and labor resources. However, we are confident that our technology allows us to produce batteries at a competitive price.

The sales forecast for our products is very optimistic, as demand for lithium batteries is growing every year. We expect that our products will be in demand in the European and global markets, allowing us to generate stable profits.

We attach great importance to the environmental and social aspects of production. Our company works using modern technologies that allow us to reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere and lower energy consumption.

We also actively support social programs aimed at developing science, technology, and education in the region. Our company creates new jobs and improves economic conditions in the area.

Lithium batteries have a wide range of applications in various fields. They can be used for powering mobile devices, such as smartphones, laptops, tablets, and more. They can also be used to power electric vehicles, which is very important for reducing the environmental pollution.

Competition in the lithium battery market is quite high. However, we believe that our production technology and product quality can give us a competitive advantage.

Our company is engaged in the development and implementation of projects in the field of green energy in the territory of Montenegro. The IRR of our projects ranges from 22% to 30%.

The Board of Directors of Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) has approved the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) project proposal, a crucial initiative aimed at enhancing sustainability, energy efficiency, and system stability.

According to the announcement, “The project task outlines that EPCG, as the leading electricity producer in Montenegro and one of the country’s major enterprises, aims not only to advance various renewable energy projects but also to optimize the utilization of all renewable energy sources.”

BESS technology will enable the storage of surplus energy generated from renewable sources, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and supporting sustainable development.

The project plans to use existing grid infrastructure for connecting to the transmission network, with proposed locations including the Hydro Power Plant (HPP) Perućica, EPCG''s Nikšić Steelworks, and the Thermal Power Plant (TPP) Pljevlja.

Additionally, the project task includes installing a BESS with a five-megawatt-hour (MWh) capacity for the five-megawatt (MW) solar power plant at Kapino Polje.

"In alignment with global trends towards sustainable energy and reducing carbon dioxide emissions, this decision by EPCG continues to advance the efficiency of the energy system and the stability of energy supply. It also creates opportunities for integrating renewable sources and lowering costs for end-users," the statement read.

"We expect this project to deliver significant benefits to society, positioning us as leaders in the transition to green energy," EPCG representatives concluded.

Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG), the largest electricity producer in Montenegro, has taken a significant step towards enhancing energy sustainability by adopting the Project Task for Battery Electro-Storage Systems (BESS). This project aims to support the country’s transition to renewable energy by providing a solution for storing excess energy generated from renewable sources. EPCG’s initiative focuses on optimizing the use of renewable energy sources, reducing dependency on fossil fuels, and improving energy system flexibility.

The next phase involves a public call for a Feasibility Study and conceptual solution, key for determining the optimal locations and strategies for the implementation of BESS. The battery systems, based on lithium-ion technology, will store surplus electricity generated from renewable sources like solar and wind. This will be crucial for stabilizing the power grid and improving energy efficiency.

The identified locations for the deployment of these storage systems include the Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP) Perućica, EPCG Željezara Nikšić, and the Thermal Power Plant (TPP) Pljevlja. Additionally, a BESS with a capacity of five megawatt hours (MWh) will be installed at the Solar Power Plant (SPP) Kapino Polje, which has a generation capacity of five megawatts (MW).
